People just come along
We can all pretend we’re someone else
Everybody is searching for someone that they don’t know how to care about
If you don’t catch your second wind
You might be left behind
From the outside looking in
You might be standing on the wayside
Maybe it’s you that I’ve become
Maybe it’s you I’m running from
Maybe it’s you that I want
What if it’s you that I want?
In the valley were safe and sound you can find me I’m hiding out
In the background I can see it fall
At least from here I can brace it all
Oh, it’s all my fault
Maybe it’s you that I’ve become
Maybe it’s you I’m running from
Maybe it’s you that I want
What if it’s you that I want?
Everyday x4
It’s you it’s you it’s you
It’s you it’s you it’s always you
It’s everything you do
Its you its you its all for you
Everything I do’s for you
Forget about the nights before
Forget it when you close the door
It’s you its you its always you
It’s you x4
One of my favorite albums of all time. Turnover really hit a sound here that resonates with me deeply, and I often find myself coming back to this record and falling in love with it all over again. The drums and bass are greatly underrated on this album, creating their own unique melodies that fit within the song and create something new rather than just follow the guitars. Nothing beats the somehow joyful and somber sound of this record. Rob Carpenter
