about
The meaning behind "One Track Mind" is something that I believe everyone experiences and it's something that I write about often. For me it happens a lot. The feeling that in some aspects of my life I've lost track of time and that when things have started feeling different or hard, it's easier to avoid talking about it and keep going with the flow, even if I'm losing whatever I thought that flow was, and realizing that avoiding things makes everything worse.
lyrics
We lost track, we pushed ourselves away
When we look back, we don’t know what to say
Now we can’t see, any other way
I didn’t wanna hurt you no, I really tried to work this out
Oh my god I love you so, what’s so wrong with saying that out loud
You’d think we’d talk it out but we don’t
One track mind, just a cheap trick
Those drunken nights, distract us from the rest
I didn’t wanna hurt you no, I really tried to work this out
Oh my god I love you so, what’s so wrong with saying that out loud
You’d think we’d talk it out, we don’t
We get hurt
You’d think we’d talk it out
But we’d just get hurt
So let’s not talk it out
Cause we’d get hurt
One track mind
We lost track
